Dr. Patel grew up in Shelton, Connecticut and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Philosophy from Boston University. She attended University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Upon getting her D.M.D. degree, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Patel is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Patel stays current with new technology and evolving dental care through continuing education courses. Because of her commitment to her profession, Dr. Patel was awarded her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2018 and her Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry is 2020. Only 2% of general dentists have received this honor. The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence. To accomplish this, Dr. Patel completed more than 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Patel has joined 2,208 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.

Family is the most important part of Dr. Patel’s life and a great source of happiness. Dr. Patel is happily married and the mother of 2 beautiful daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys playing tennis, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family!

Dr. Johnson grew up in both Brooklyn, New York and Kalamazoo, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Howard University, and attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her D.D.S. degree. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through NYU. She has pursued additional training in extractions, grafting, and implant placement, and is working towards fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID.) Dr. Johnson is passionate about getting to know her patients, while delivering high quality care. She has tremendous empathy for anxious patients, and works intentionally to make dental visits comfortable and calm.

Dr. Johnson currently serves as a Board Ambassador for CAFI (Community Action for Improvement) Board of Directors, an organization that works to support low income families in Coweta, Carroll, Heard, Meriwether, and Troup counties. She is passionate about the important work they do, as it aligns with her core purpose of serving others. Dr. Johnson volunteers with Head Start Programs to help children and parents access the oral health care they need. Dr. Johnson loves her family dearly, and enjoys spending free time with her husband, son, daughter, and two dogs.

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Yarbrough is a graduate of Benedictine Military School, the University of Georgia and the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta,GA. “I was fortunate enough to gain extensive training in many aspects of dentistry but focused in dental implants, oral surgery and IV sedation,” said Dr. Yarbrough. “I understand that coming to the dental office is not a fan favorite among most people, so my goal is to always try and make everyone’s experience as comfortable as possible. I believe that building trust and confidence with my patients is how a long-lasting relationship is developed.”

Dr Yarbrough has been practicing in Savannah, GA since 2017. He has been visiting Newnan for the past 18 years, as his wife was born and raised here. “I’ve seen a lot of growth and change in Newnan over the years, but it still has that small-town feel I love.” Outside of the office, Dr. Yarbrough enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, being on the water, playing golf and soccer, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. His family is an active member of First United Methodist Church in Newnan.
